  • The Critical Path: Identification, analysis, and strategies for compression.

Day 2: Resources, Costs, and Tracking
• Module 1: Resource Management

  • Defining resources: Labor, Material, and Cost.
  • Managing availability, rate schedules, and variable costs.
  • Assigning resources and resolving over-allocations (balancing workloads).


• Module 2: Financial Control

  • Entering fixed costs and one-time expenditures.
  • Analyzing costs at the project, task, and resource levels.


• Module 3: Tracking & Reporting

  • The Baseline: Establishing and saving the project plan.
  • Assessing variances and project changes.
  • Earned Value Analysis: Evaluating project performance.
  • Creating standard and custom reports for stakeholders.
